Key Responsibilities Privacy and Compliance Oversight • ️‍♂️ Monitor compliance with global data privacy laws, including GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and more • Create and maintain up-to-date privacy policies, terms, and documentation tailored for each jurisdiction • Conduct privacy risk assessments and internal audits to identify and resolve potential data protection gaps • Review new tools and vendors to assess privacy implications before adoption Collaboration and Awareness • Work closely with IT, Legal, HR, and Product teams to embed privacy across the organization • Deliver engaging training sessions that empower staff to champion data protection in their work • Act as an internal consultant for stakeholders needing guidance on ethical data usage ⚠️ Incident Management and Reporting • Lead the charge during breach responses by managing investigations, coordinating with legal, and notifying relevant authorities and users • Conduct post-incident reviews to develop preventive strategies and system improvements • Stay up-to-date on privacy legislation and cybersecurity trends to ensure organizational resilience Ideal Candidate Profile Required Education and Certification • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred) • Certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, or relevant equivalents are highly valued Skills and Experience • 3+ years of experience managing privacy compliance programs or performing data protection duties • In-depth understanding of privacy principles, regulatory frameworks, and enforcement trends globally • Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and spoken form, along with a collaborative, empathetic tone • Strong organizational aptitude, precise focus on details, and capability to handle multiple priorities under deadline pressure • A curious mind and a passion for privacy and ethics Why Join Us Remotely?
