Dimension Data is seeking a highly motivated and curious Virtual Cybersecurity Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in cybersecurity but a strong foundational understanding of IT principles and an insatiable desire to learn. You will undergo a comprehensive training program, gain hands-on experience with real-world security challenges, and be mentored by industry experts. Key Responsibilities • Participate actively in a structured cybersecurity training curriculum. • Assist senior analysts in monitoring security alerts and incidents. • Learn to identify and categorize various types of cyber threats. • Support the implementation of security best practices and policies. • Contribute to the documentation of security procedures and incident reports. • Conduct basic vulnerability scans and analyze results under supervision. • Collaborate with team members on ongoing security projects and initiatives. • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
