Virtual Assistant familiar with ConvertKit, Squarespace, Google Drive, and customer support
Hello! We (The Wild Pixel LLC) contracting hiring a virtual assistant who is able to work within the Eastern Time zone. You do not need to work specific hours but you will have tasks due in Eastern Time. For example, any tasks due Monday, 3pm will always be the 3pm Eastern. Tasks are usually given at least 48 hours in advance. Unless you request an adjusted due date, you will not have tasks due... on weekends or holidays, which will be agreed upon.
This is an independent contractor position, paid at $20/hour. There are no additional benefits or taxes withheld, though you will be issued a 1099 at the end of the year. To start, you will be capped at $200 (10 hours) per month with a plan to increase those hours over time. If you do not think you will reach $200 by the end of the month, you can suggest or request other work to meet the hours.
Pay will happen close of business on Fridays. You must submit a timesheet and invoice. Payments can happen through Venmo, Paypal, or invoicing software of your choice. You will need to sign a contract, nondisclosure, and noncompete.
You must have your own internet connection. All software you may need will be provided or paid for in advance.
You will be asked about certifications/degree but it is not a requirement or disqualification if you do not have one.

Tasks you will be involved in:
Answering emails. We receive 3-5 emails per week. They must be answered within 24 hours, excluding weekends. You will be given training and templates to answer with. If needed, Fiona will be on call during business hours so you can directly ask her for help.
Editing written content. We exclusively market through our blog and newsletter. Sometimes, it will need grammatical/editing check. You must be familiar with American millennial slang. You will also copy and paste SEO for blog posts as needed.
Downloading and uploading videos. We often host webinars, teach online courses, or do live calls with clients. You will be downloading those videos from Zoom or Loom and uploading them to Google Drive, Vimeo, or other specified locations.
Community management. We are launching a membership mid-September. Your role will be ensuring that Fiona responds to posts within three business days and checking to see if anyone needs customer support.
Communicating with DeShaun. DeShaun handles all financial and billing related questions.
Other tasks as agreed upon first.
