Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Videographer/Video Editor & YouTube Channel Manager to join our team in-house. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with GoPros, drones, and other video equipment to capture high-quality content. This role requires the ability to travel internationally for projects and a commitment of 6 days per week, working 40+ hours. You will manage all aspects of our YouTube channel, including video production, editing, uploading, optimization, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
ย Videography & Filming:
ย Capture engaging, high-quality video content using GoPros, drones, and other video equipment.
ย Plan, storyboard, and execute video shoots in various locations, ensuring content aligns with the brandยs vision.
ย Operate drones and GoPros to capture unique perspectives and immersive footage.
ย Manage lighting, sound, and camera equipment on location to ensure optimal quality.
ย Travel internationally as needed for shoots and special projects.
ย Video Editing:
ย Edit raw footage into professional, polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
ย Add graphics, animations, sound design, color correction, and other post-production elements to enhance video quality.
ย Ensure all videos are optimized for YouTube and other social platforms (aspect ratios, thumbnails, metadata).
ย YouTube Channel Management:
ย Manage all aspects of the YouTube channel, including uploading content, writing SEO-friendly descriptions, and managing tags and keywords.
ย Optimize video titles, tags, and descriptions for maximum search visibility and audience engagement.
ย Monitor and analyze video performance metrics (views, watch time, engagement) to inform future content strategy.
ย Engage with the YouTube community by responding to comments, managing discussions, and handling moderation.
ย Coordinate with the social media team to promote YouTube videos across other platforms.
Requirements:
ย Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor with a strong portfolio of work.
ย Proficiency with GoPros, drones, and other camera equipment.
ย Expertise in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
ย Strong understanding of YouTube channel growth strategies, algorithms, and SEO best practices.
ย Experience in creating compelling thumbnails and titles for YouTube videos.
ย Excellent attention to detail, time management, and project management skills.
ย Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
ย Strong communication skills for managing channel comments and engaging with the audience.
ย Willingness to work in-house (no remote work), 6 days a week, with 40+ hours and flexibility for longer hours during busy periods.
ย Ability to travel internationally as needed.
