Video Editor (Short-Form Content - Remote)
What You’ll Do - • Edit high-performing short-form videos (5–60 sec) for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts with strong hooks and engaging pacing. • Transform raw and unedited footage into polished, high-quality, engaging content aligned with brand goals. • Collaborate closely with the video development and marketing teams to deliver content as per campaign and content requirements. • Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, and visual effects that enhance storytelling without overcomplicating the content. • Select, edit, and sync appropriate audio, sound effects, and background music to elevate the final output. • Write sharp on-screen text and micro-copy that matches the brand’s tone and improves viewer retention. • Leverage AI tools (such as Runway, Higgsfield, generative fill, and others) to streamline workflows and enhance creativity. • Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media formats, and audience engagement strategies. • Ensure timely delivery of projects and iterate quickly based on feedback. Must-Haves - • 2+ years of experience in video editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut Desktop, or similar tools). • Proven experience creating engaging short-form content for social media platforms. • Strong storytelling skills with an eye for pacing, rhythm, and viewer retention. • Ability to work with raw footage and turn it into compelling visual content. • Experience with audio selection, syncing, and basic sound design. • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. • Ability to manage deadlines and adapt quickly to changing requirements. Nice-to-Haves - • Familiarity with Higgsfield or similar AI-based video tools. • Experience with After Effects or motion graphics. • Understanding of social media performance metrics (CTR, watch-time, retention). • Experience working with lifestyle, automotive, or digital-first brands.
