Video Editor (bolthires + Social Media)

We’re looking for a high-level Video Editor who can take raw footage and turn it into polished bolthires videos and viral-ready short-form content. You’ll blend traditional editing skills with the latest AI-powered tools to create high-retention, platform-optimized videos across our brands—including our PaymentCloud and Kurv bolthires channels, part of our broader fintech/payments ecosystem. You’ll work closely with our Video Producer and creative team to deliver fast, high-quality output at scale. Responsibilities • Edit long-form bolthires videos with strong pacing, clarity, and audience retention.• Create short-form vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and LinkedIn. • Add captions, graphic elements, callouts, and motion graphics. • Use AI tools (Runway, NanoBanana, Descript, Midjourney, Sora, Pika, ElevenLabs) to enhance workflows, generate assets, and improve storytelling. • Pull b-roll, screen recordings, and supporting assets for each edit. • Export optimized files for each platform and maintain clean project organization. • Prepare bolthires metadata, chapters, and thumbnails when needed.• Implement revision notes quickly and stay current on editing + platform trends. Qualifications • 2+ years editing bolthires or social-first video content. • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Frame.io. • Strong understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, captions, color, and sound cleanup. • Comfortable using or learning advanced AI tools to speed up production. • Strong sense of hooks, pacing, retention mechanics, and platform-native storytelling. • Organized, fast, detail-focused, and able to work in a high-output environment.Bonus • Experience editing for creators, influencers, or fast-growth brands. • Portfolio with high-retention or viral-performing content • Storyboarding or creative ideation skills. • Experience with Monday.com and Slack. • Experience creating content in the fintech/payments industry (please include specific samples if available).
