Vice President of Sales - Costco

VP of Sales Next Phase Enterprises, Selling Food & Beverage in Costco Regions

This VP of Sales position leads, builds, and implements collaborative business solutions aligned with NPE and Costco’s objectives to achieve desired business results. This position must develop and strengthen a mutual relationship with the Customer at multiple levels, resulting in strategic business planning and partnership. This role manages and develops business initiatives with Costco’s Divisions and our Clients/Vendors. This role requires strong skills in selling, project development, portfolio product knowledge, enterprise capabilities, and the ability to navigate cross-functionally. Providing clear sales direction, support, and information to the customer and internal cross-functional partner is essential while demonstrating the company’s values and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities include:
• Leading our sales initiatives at Costco.
• Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships.
• Achieve sales volume and spending budgets while maintaining accuracy in T&E, AR, Deductions, and forecasting.
• Negotiate and manage our contracts and volume commitments. Maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews, volume commitments, documentation, and trackers.
• Provide timely, concise, and effective communication both internally and externally. Live out the NPE Mission, Vision, and Values

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience: 5 plus years of industry sales experience preferred. 2 plus years of sales experience in the Wholesale Club channel and or 2 plus years of Direct Sales Experience with Costco preferred.
• Computer Skills: Expected to be fully literate in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Asana strongly preferred
• Strong Selling and organization skills and ability to navigate cross-functionally to find solutions. Strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to work independently; Ability to translate customer direction into sales successes.

Travel: 12 or more domestic trips per year
