Vice President of Financial Operations

Job Overview The Vice President of Finance and Operations is responsible for the overall planning and execution of the company's financial strategy and operational management, ensuring financial health, operational efficiency, and supporting the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. This position requires a combination of financial expertise, operational management experience, and strategic thinking abilities, and is a key member of the company's senior management team. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Strategy and Management Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy to support long-term growth objectives. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting and execution, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with financial processes and international and regional accounting standards (such as IFRS/US GAAP). Provide senior-level decision support, driving business growth and profit optimization through financial data and analysis. Manage tax planning, auditing, and internal control systems to mitigate financial and operational risks. 2. Operational Management Responsible for the company's daily operational management, including key operational aspects such as supply chain, procurement, production, or service processes. Drive business process optimization to improve operational efficiency and cost control capabilities. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational objectives align with the company's strategy. Support the implementation of strategic projects in business units, such as new business development, market entry, and business integration. 3. Team Leadership and Development Lead the finance and operations team, including accounting, financial analysis, internal control, procurement, and related operational departments. Build a high-performing team culture, cultivate talent, optimize team structure, and enhance overall execution capabilities. Serve as a communication bridge between senior management and employees, promoting cross-departmental collaboration and information transparency. 4. Strategic Decision Support Participate in the company's senior-level strategic planning and decision-making, providing feasibility analysis, financial forecasting, and risk assessment. Support capital operations, financing plans, investment evaluation, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to provide decision-making basis for business optimization and innovation. Requirements Education Background Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA/ACCA/CGMA) preferred. Work Experience At least 20 years of experience in finance and operations management, including at least 5 years in a senior management role. Experience in financial and operational management in large enterprises, multinational corporations, or fast-growing companies is preferred. Familiarity with financial management systems, budget control, cost management, and operational optimization methods. Experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, IPOs, or international business management is a plus. Skills and Abilities Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop financial and operational strategies from a holistic perspective. Leadership: Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational change and performance improvement. Analytical Skills: Proficient in financial analysis, data-driven decision-making, and risk management. Communication Skills: Excellent cross-departmental communication and reporting skills, capable of providing insightful recommendations to the board of directors and senior management. Technical Skills: Proficient in using ERP systems, financial software, and office automation tools. Personal Attributes High sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
