Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Oversee and manage a data portfolio worth $25-$40 million, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals and delivering measurable impact.
Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data strategies for healthcare clients, with a strong focus on MDM, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
Champion data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of data literacy across the organization.
Stay ahead of emerging trends in healthcare data, analytics, and technology.
Data Governance and Compliance
Establish and enforce robust data governance policies and frameworks to ensure data accuracy, security, and privacy.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, CMS guidelines, and other relevant healthcare standards.
Monitor and address data-related risks, including patient privacy and data breaches.
Data Architecture and Integration
Architect and implement cloud-native data solutions using Azure and AWS platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
Drive the integration of disparate data sources, including EHRs, claims systems, patient portals, and clinical research data.
Ensure seamless interoperability between internal systems and external healthcare data exchanges.
Analytics and Insights
Lead the development of advanced analytics capabilities to derive actionable insights from clinical, operational, and financial healthcare data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build predictive and prescriptive models for improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and cost management.
Promote the use of real-time dashboards and reporting tools for key performance indicators (KPIs).
Team Leadership

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience
15+ years of experience in data management, with expertise in MDM, Data Quality, and Data Governance, including substantial experience in healthcare.
Proven leadership experience in managing a data, analytics, or AI business unit within a consulting or technology firm, preferably within the healthcare domain.
Experience managing $25 million or more in revenue.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT, etc.).
Proficiency in data management platforms, ETL tools, and BI/analytics solutions.
Advanced proficiency with Azure and AWS platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Redshift), strong SQL skills, and knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with value-based care initiatives, population health management, and claims analytics.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
