The
VP of Application Development will lead the Engineering teams responsible for development, maintenance and delivery of the platform that EnableComp RCM Analysts use to process complex healthcare claims. Key Responsibilities
Direct oversight of all application development for EnableComp's platform
Lead 25 Engineers across onshore/offshore locations with 24/7 operational coverage
Manage dual-platform strategy: AI-powered agentic systems and legacy .NET infrastructure
Ensure 99.9% uptime for production systems processing high-volume claim transactions
Drive technical roadmap aligned with business objectives and RCM analyst workflow requirements
Establish and enforce development standards, code review processes, and deployment protocols
Recruit, develop, and retain senior technical talent in competitive market
Implement performance management systems with clear career progression paths
Execute 18-month migration plan from legacy .NET 4.8 to modern cloud-native AI platform
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to reduce deployment cycle time
Deploy AI development tools across engineering teams with measurable productivity targets
Establish architecture review board and technical debt reduction initiatives
Report directly to CTO on technical strategy, team performance, and delivery metrics Requirements & Qualifications

Leadership & Management
10+ years senior management experience reporting to C-level executives
Proven track record managing hybrid onshore/offshore development teams
Experience scaling engineering organizations
Technical Platform Management
Production experience with agentic AI frameworks and implementation
Hands-on management of legacy .NET 4.8 codebases in production environments
Led successful technology stack modernization initiatives (legacy to cloud-native/microservices)
AI Development Tools Implementation
Deployed and measured productivity impact of AI coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
Quantifiable metrics on developer productivity improvements (cycle time, code quality, delivery velocity)
Change management experience for AI tool adoption across development teams
Healthcare Domain Knowledge
Understanding of healthcare claims processing, particularly complex claim types
Experience with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.)
RCM or healthcare technology background strongly preferred Special Considerations & Prerequisites
Demonstrated experience with zero-downtime deployments in regulated healthcare environments
Proven ability to maintain system performance during 3x volume spikes (end-of-qurter processing)
Comfortable with on-call escalation responsibilities for production issues
Experience working with clinical and business stakeholders who lack technical backgrounds
Ability to translate complex technical decisions into business impact for executive reportingMust be available for occasional travel to offshore development centers (2-3 times annually)
Experience with healthcare audit processes and regulatory examinations
Background in managing technical teams under SOX compliance requirements Additional Information
