Position Details

Role: Veterinary Receptionist
Status: Part-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; rotating Saturdays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping pets and their people? Spartanburg Animal Clinic in Spartanburg, SC is looking for an experienced part-time Receptionist to join our team!

With a rich history of serving the Spartanburg community for over 100 years, Spartanburg Animal Clinic is a trusted resource for generations of pet owners. We are a well-established, high-quality practice serving dogs and cats, with a strong emphasis on client education, preventative care, and fear-free handling. Our veterinarians are backed by a talented group of support staff who work together in a fun, professional environment.

We're seeking a responsible, proactive team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our medical team.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily calendars
Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle billing questions
Maintain accurate patient records and enter data into practice management software
Assist with general office tasks to support the veterinary team

Qualifications

Experience in a client-facing veterinary or medical receptionist role required
Experience with ezyVet preferred, but familiarity with any PIMS software is required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with computers and willingness to learn veterinary software
Compassion for pets and their owners
