So, if you’re excited about using your talents to make an impact on the health and wellness of pets - we’d love to talk with you! Job Description:Position SummaryThe PMS Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting veterinary hospitals through practice management system (PMS) conversions and resolving complex system issues. This hands-on position focuses on ensuring smooth transitions to cloud-based platforms while minimizing disruption to hospital operations.This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and remains calm under pressure, especially during system go-lives. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator who can effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, understands how data is structured within systems, and takes strong ownership of outcomes from start to finish.Qualifications:Key ResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end PMS conversions, including system setup, data migration, validation, and go-live executionConfigure templates, pricing, services, and workflows within PMS platformsAssist with data entry and ensure accuracy throughout the conversion processProvide post-conversion support to stabilize systems and drive user adoptionServe as an escalation point for complex PMS-related issues across hospitalsDiagnose and resolve system, workflow, and data-related problemsPartner with software vendors to address system bugs, outages, and integrationsCollaborate with Operations, Strategy, Marketing, and Finance teams to support conversions and ongoing system needsCommunicate timelines, risks, and resolutions clearly to stakeholdersRequired:3+ years of hands-on experience with veterinary PMS platformsStrong experience with Pulse and EzyVetExperience with additional systems such as Avimark, Cornerstone, Impromed, Shepherd, or VetspireProven experience supporting PMS implementations or conversionsStrong troubleshooting skills across systems, workflows, and dataSolid understanding of veterinary hospital operations (front desk, clinical workflows, billing, inventory)Preferred:Experience in a multi-site veterinary organizationExposure to data migration or system integrationsExperience working with software vendors and technical support teamsAbility to work independently in fast-paced, time-sensitive environmentsAdditional Information:Additional information Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus eligibilityComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidays Work EnvironmentRemote or hybrid (if NY based)Travel up to ~20% during active conversions and go-livesCompetitive compensation dependent on location and experience, with annual bonus potential.
