We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Customer Services Representative to join our Small Animal Reception team at the Veterinary Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional front-line client services, supporting clients, customers, clinicians, and care-giving colleagues. This is a full-time position (32 hours/week) with varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, and offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00-$21.69.
Responsibilities include:

Responding to routine, complex, and medical emergency situations in a professional manner
Answering and directing internal and external calls appropriately
Creating accurate day-to-day admitting information through our hospital computer system
Resolving routine problems and complex situations using medical terminology, office practices, and established customer service principles
Maintaining safe and accurate money handling practices and adhering to university privacy standards

To be successful in this role, you will have:

2 years of experience in a customer service, healthcare, or veterinary care environment
Background in customer services, insurance verification, and/or veterinary practice customer services
Ability to work independently while interacting with customers, visitors, clinicians, technicians, and medical center faculty and staff
Experience analyzing and interpreting information, with proficiency in electronic medical records systems and computer operations
