Veterinary Content Expert & Reviewer ("Ask the Expert")
Veterinary Q&A Specialist / Content Advisor
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner Vet to provide expert, conversational responses to real pet owner queries about common pet issues,. NOTE: there is no need for quick/urgent response.
Key Responsibilities
Expert Q&A Response: Provide clear, engaging, and accurate answers (approx. 200–400 words per response) to a pre-selected list of 15-20 pet health and behavior questions.
Tone & Style: Translate complex veterinary concepts into accessible, empathetic, and easy-to-understand advice for a general audience.
Basic Fact-Checking: Ensure general medical accuracy regarding common pet conditions, diets, and behaviors.
Out of Scope (What You Will NOT Do):
• * No Tele-health or Diagnostics: You will not be diagnosing specific animals, prescribing medication, or managing emergency triage. All content is strictly general educational advice.
• * No Heavy SEO/Blog Writing: You are not required to write long-form, optimized blog articles, perform keyword research, or source imagery.
• * No Direct Client Interaction: You will review and answer questions asynchronously. There is no live chat or direct face-to-face consultation with pet owners.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc or equivalent) with active or past professional registration (e.g., RCVS, AVA).
• Strong background in first-opinion general practice.
• Proven experience in veterinary content creation or writing for pet owners.
