About the position

The Vet Tech Services Specialist role is designed to provide support and expertise in addressing product inquiries, complaints, and adverse events related to veterinary products. This position requires a strong customer service background and a commitment to regulatory compliance, ensuring that all communications and documentation adhere to industry standards and client policies. The role involves maintaining technical expertise, supporting sales representatives, and participating in veterinary conferences, all while upholding the company's reputation in the animal health community.

Responsibilities
• Address and respond to all product inquiries, complaints, and suspected adverse events in compliance with US regulations.

• Receive communications from veterinarians, veterinary technicians, consumers, and sales personnel regarding product usage.
,
• Provide information and support on proper product use, adverse events, and product defects.
,
• Document all communications in the client Validated Database (PVWorks) according to compliance requirements.
,
• Ensure timely communication and adherence to client SOPs, escalating issues to Technical Services Veterinarians as needed.
,
• Support sales representatives by providing technical support and attending veterinary conferences.
,
• Research topics and prepare reports as requested by management.
,
• Perform additional duties as assigned, maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Requirements
• Associate Degree or higher in Life Sciences or Veterinary Technician.
,
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary assistant or technician.
,
• Strong customer service background with a commitment to excellence.
,
• Understanding of veterinary practice issues and procedures.
,
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
,
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
,
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
,
• Ability to manage conflict and balance business needs with user-friendliness.

Nice-to-haves
• Animal Health or related industry experience.

• Regulatory experience in a compliance environment.
