They are seeking a Vendor & Procurement Coordinator to support estimating and operations by securing vendor coverage and competitive pricing, playing a critical role in the preconstruction process. Responsibilities Source and procure materials, equipment, and services Coordinate with estimating and operations (both remote and on-site) Identify supply risks and solve them before they could impact the job Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers Travel to new and prospective project areas to support vendor needs Look for ways to improve how we buy, track, and communicate Skills 1-3 years in construction, procurement, or similar Civil, utility, or power industry experience is a strong plus Comfortable managing multiple priorities at once Ownership mindset – you follow things through and don't drop the ball Initiative – you don't wait to be told what to do Curiosity – you want to understand how things work and will research on your own Strong communication – you can work with field and office without friction Willingness to travel – you're comfortable being on the road as needed You've improved a process or fixed something that wasn't working You've taken the time to learn something outside your job scope You're the person people rely on when something needs to get handled Benefits Benefits Company Overview R-2 Contractors is a civil and underground construction company specializing exclusively in power infrastructure projects across the United States.
