Vegetation Artist (SpeedTree)

Join our team of like-minded people passionate about a common goal and love for games as a Vegetation Artist (SpeedTree) for contract cooperation!
Responsibilities
⢠Create high-quality, optimized vegetation assets (trees, bushes, grass) using SpeedTree;
⢠Model and texture accurately according to their species and natural characteristics;
⢠Ensure assets meet technical and visual requirements for real-time engines (e.g., LODs, wind animation, lightmaps);
⢠Understand and interpret concept art and environment briefs precisely;
⢠Collaborate with environment and level design teams to integrate foliage seamlessly into game worlds;
⢠Work with technical artists to maintain performance and consistency across platforms;
⢠Contribute to world-building by shaping the natural look and feel of in-game environments.
Qualifications
⢠2+ years of strong experience with SpeedTree for Games;
⢠Solid understanding of real-world vegetation types and forms;
⢠Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop);
⢠Familiarity with PBR workflows and optimization techniques;
⢠Ability to quickly learn the game engine as needed;
⢠Ability to interpret and translate concept art into functional assets;
⢠Understanding of LOD systems, wind animation, and lightmap preparation;
⢠A good eye for natural composition and environmental storytelling;
⢠English B1+ (speaking).
