As an LOD Flight Attendant, you will perform all the rigorous safety and service duties of a standard flight attendant, with the added responsibility of facilitating communication and hospitality for our non-English speaking customers. • Customs & Immigration Assistance: Assist passengers with completing complex international arrival documents, customs declarations, and immigration forms.
• Emergency Translation: In the event of an in-flight medical emergency, security issue, or irregular operation, provide rapid and precise translation between passengers, the flight deck, and medical consultants on the ground.
• Core Cabin Duties: Execute all standard pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including securing the cabin, deploying emergency equipment, and executing premium meal services in our Delta One cabins.
The Delta Difference (Benefits)

Your linguistic skills are highly valued in the airline industry, and our compensation reflects that:
• LOD Premium Pay: Earn an additional hourly premium for flights where you utilize your language skills.
• World-Class Travel: Experience the world with unlimited space-available standby travel, plus access to significantly discounted confirmed tickets.
• Robust Health Coverage: Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options tailored to protect you and your family.
• Retirement Planning: Outstanding 401(k) program with automatic company contributions and matching.
Requirements
• Must be 21+ years old with a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Native or highly proficient fluency in English AND a designated target language (reading, writing, and speaking). Must pass a rigorous third-party language proficiency examination.
• Valid passport granting unrestricted access to global destinations.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including multi-day international trips, weekends, and holidays.
