Job Description:

The Paralegal Case Manager is a key member of a personal injury legal team, supporting attorneys by managing cases with accuracy, empathy, and strong attention to detail. In this role, you will serve as a consistent point of contact for clients while helping ensure that every case progresses efficiently and in alignment with legal requirements. You will play a hands on role throughout the case lifecycle, from documentation and medical record coordination to litigation support and court related filings. This position is ideal for someone who is confident, organized, and comfortable advocating for what cases need to move forward on time. At Job Duck, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives while working closely with attorneys in a fast paced personal injury practice.

• Compensation Range: $1,220 to $1,320 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Draft pleadings and assist with responding to discovery under attorney supervision
• Support electronic court filings in accordance with procedural rules
• Assist with litigation support activities related to personal injury matters
• Monitor court and case deadlines and proactively alert attorneys when action is required
• Communicate regularly with supervising attorneys, insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and courts
• Maintain accurate, timely case notes, records, and documentation
• Manage personal injury cases using FileVine and related legal systems
• Provide trial preparation and trial support as needed
• Request, track, and organize medical records and medical billing documentation
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and support throughout the legal process

Requirements:

Required Skills

• Strong personal injury case management experience
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence communicating with attorneys, clients, courts, and insurance adjusters
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and speak up when action is required
• Detail oriented approach to case documentation and data entry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Professional assertiveness balanced with collaboration
• Ability to work closely as the right-hand support to a supervising attorney

• Full time remote role

• Aligned to Eastern Standard Time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
• Location: Remote

• Expected daily call volume: approximately 16 to 30 calls
