UX Designer Position Description As a UX Designer at PAR, you will play a crucial role in defining the user experience by translating customer insights and research into intuitive, engaging, and innovative designs. Working closely with Product Managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams, you will focus on discovery and design to create compelling user interfaces and interactive prototypes. What We’re Looking For • Relevant Experience & Design Expertise: Bring 3-5 years of experience in UX design, ideally within SaaS or digital technology environments. You should have a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions and a deep understanding of design principles, interaction design, and visual storytelling. • User-Centric & Research-Driven: Proficient in conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions. You excel at synthesizing customer insights into actionable design improvements that enhance the user experience. • Tooling & Technical Proficiency: Experience with industry-standard design tools and familiarity with prototyping and wireframing techniques. A solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and modern UI/UX trends is essential. • Collaborative Communicator: You are adept at working closely with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to advocate for user-centered design and articulate design rationale is key to driving consensus and inspiring innovation. • Creative Problem Solver: Possess a keen eye for detail, balancing aesthetics with usability. You are passionate about crafting seamless, engaging user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business outcomes. • Cultural Champion: Embody PAR’s values by acting with urgency, striving for excellence, collaborating effectively, taking ownership of your work, and consistently delivering outcomes that drive our products forward. • Fluency in Serbian and English language Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning • Lead UX Discovery & Research: Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to gather deep insights that inform design strategies. Use these insights to drive innovation and refine user experience across our product suite. • Design and Prototype User Interfaces: Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that bring product visions to life. Iterate on designs based on feedback and data to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience. • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate user experience into the overall product strategy. Ensure design solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility. • Advocate for User-Centered Design: Champion best practices in UX and accessibility across the organization. Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and creative problem solving. • Drive Design Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging design trends and technologies, applying new ideas to enhance the product experience. Continuously explore innovative approaches to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
