When you join RadNet as a Utilization Department LVN, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will: • Creates edits or cancels new or current patient orders, and notifies staff of changes when necessary. • Enters accurate information in the system for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and comment entry. • Works closely with referring physicians’ staff to obtain patient notes and begin process of authorizations. • Communicates and interacts with all departments effectively and professionally. • Ensures accurate, timely, and thorough documentation and completion of all necessary paperwork, according to established standards. • Follows all HIPAA, compliance, privacy and confidentiality standards. • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. • Contacts medical groups and offices as needed to obtain information needed to complete cases • Imports referrals and patient paperwork into eRAD RIS. • Completes all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
