Utility Design Administrator
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Utility Design Assistant to join our team. This role involves working closely with customers and handling applications, data entry, and simple projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, though specific experience in utility design is not required. We are willing to provide training for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Start the workday at the work center, review emails, and pull customer applications.
Ā Return information to customers and route applications through the process.
Ā Answer phone calls and provide information to customers.
Ā Assist in basic utility design.
Ā Show customers design layouts and discuss electrical wiring and connections.
Ā Work with a small team in a dynamic environment and adapt to various personalities.
Requirements:
Ā Minimum of 1 year of utility or construction based experience.
Ā Strong soft skills and the ability to work with diverse personalities.
Ā Basic knowledge of electrical trade or construction trade.
Ā Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal direction.
Bonus Qualifications:
Ā Experience working with a major utility in any role.
Ā Experience performing entry-level to moderate utility designs.
Ā Experience in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, or Maximo
