Utility Construction Laborer
Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Utility Worker
Position type: Full-time/Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: San Antonio Texas 78825
As a Utility Worker, you will:
Traffic Management: Set up barricades and traffic cones, and act as a flagman to direct traffic as needed.
Groundwork: Break ground or pavement using a jackhammer or other methods as required.
Trenching: Dig trenches using a shovel or other methods, tamp and backfill trenches.
Equipment Operation: Operate equipment required for the installation of electrical and gas lines, including backhoes, trenching machines, dump trucks, boring machines, and air compressors.
Construction Assistance: Assist in the construction of duct banks, manholes, natural gas mains, and distribution lines.
Service Installation: Assist in the installation of customer electrical and natural gas services.
Safety: Perform job duties in a safety-conscious manner, reflecting safety in work habits and project execution.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to dig, spread, and level dirt, gravel, and sand.
Ability to load and unload materials from the company truck by hand or with an assisting device such as a forklift.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks involving dexterous use of hands and tools, e.g., demolishing structures, dismantling forms, cutting insulation material, and removing concrete.
Ability to transport needed tools, equipment, and materials to/from and around the work site.

Pay Range*: $17.00 - $19.51.00 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
