Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Food and Consumables Coach to join our Walmart Management team in Canyon, TX. As a Food and Consumables Coach, you will play a critical role in leading and developing teams, driving financial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates
Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area
Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates
Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience
For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required
For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
