What you'll do...
The Director of Communications for Walmart U.S. People is a key member of our world-class communications team, advising and supporting People leadership to enhance Walmart's reputation as America's favorite place to shop and work. This proactive leader brings a strategic mindset, strong writing skills, and expertise in both internal and external communications to drive change and build effective cross-functional partnerships.

Through owned and earned channels, we create clear, compelling communications that strengthen our reputation by showcasing Walmart's unique culture and opportunities, while simultaneously empowering associates to lead through change.

• Support our mission to elevate Walmart's employer brand!
• Develop and execute owned and earned communications strategies.
• Serve as a thought-partner to executive leadership, helping translate sensitive and complex initiatives into clear, compelling, and actionable communications!

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field and 5 years' experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area.
2 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
