US Property Accountant needed with Yardi Experience

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant with strong Yardi software expertise to support ongoing accounting operations for US real estate portfolios. The role involves end-to-end property accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliation work.

This is a remote engagement suitable for professionals experienced in US property accounting workflows and Yardi Voyager/related modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle property accounting using Yardi software

Perform month-end close activities (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)

Prepare and review:

Balance Sheet

Income Statement

T12 reports

General Ledger reconciliations

Handle tenant ledger accounting, CAM reconciliations, and rent roll validation

Bank, escrow, and intercompany reconciliations

Support audit and reporting requirements as needed

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in US property accounting

Strong hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager (mandatory)

Understanding of:

GAAP accounting principles

Lease accounting basics

Property financial reporting

Advanced Excel skills preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing multiple properties/portfolios

Exposure to property management companies or real estate funds

Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent)

Engagement Details:

Flexible hours (overlap with US time zone preferred)
