US-licensed Patent Attorney / Patent Agent for Ongoing Patent Filings (AI & Video Analytics)
We are seeking a US-licensed Patent Attorney or Registered Patent Agent to assist with filing patent applications in the United States. This will be a long-term, ongoing engagement for the right candidate. We already have multiple patent applications drafted and ready for filing, including: 1. Well-prepared specifications 2. Accurate claims 3. Completed drawings The primary scope of work is to review, finalize, and file patent applications with the USPTO, and provide support through the prosecution process as needed. Our technology focus is in the Artificial Intelligence domain, specifically: 1. AI-based video analysis 2. Computer vision 3. Metadata extraction from video and multimedia content 4. Machine learning–driven video intelligence systems Candidates with prior experience handling patents in AI, computer vision, machine learning, or video analytics will be strongly preferred. Responsibilities Review prepared patent applications (specification, claims, and drawings) File US provisional and/or non-provisional patent applications with the USPTO Ensure compliance with USPTO formal requirements Advise on filing strategy where appropriate Handle office actions and prosecution support (as needed, under separate scope or milestones) Maintain confidentiality of all technical and business information Required Qualifications Registered US Patent Attorney or US Patent Agent (USPTO registration required) Active license and good standing Demonstrated experience filing patents in the United States Strong background in software, AI, machine learning, or computer vision Familiarity with patenting AI-based systems and algorithms Ability to work independently and communicate clearly Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with AI-based video analysis, computer vision, or multimedia systems Experience with multiple filings for the same client Practical, business-oriented approach to patent prosecution Engagement Type Long-term, ongoing collaboration Initial scope: Filing of already-prepared patent applications Future scope: Additional filings, office actions, and prosecution support How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: Confirmation that you are a US-licensed Patent Attorney or USPTO-registered Patent Agent Your USPTO registration number Brief summary of your experience with AI / software-related patents Examples of similar patent work (high-level description only, no confidential details) Your fee structure (per filing or hourly) Confidentiality All applicants must agree to sign an NDA prior to reviewing any confidential materials.
