US Business Lawyer Needed for LLC Formation, Trademarks & Compliance (Long-Term) - Contract to Hire
We are looking for an experienced US-based business lawyer (or a lawyer with deep expertise in United States business law) to support the legal setup and ongoing compliance of a new digital education and services business.

Scope of Work
We need legal support across the following areas:
ā¢ Registering a US LLC (state selection guidance included)
ā¢ Advising on ownership structure, operating agreements, and compliance
ā¢ Trademark search and trademark registration (USPTO)
ā¢ General legal guidance for a digital / online education business
ā¢ Advising on contracts, terms & conditions, privacy policy, and disclaimers
ā¢ Ensuring the business is structured correctly from a risk and compliance perspective
ā¢ Guidance around US banking setup (we understand you may not directly set this up, but advice/referrals are appreciated)
Requirements
ā¢ Strong experience with US business law
ā¢ Proven experience forming LLCs in the United States
ā¢ Experience with trademark registration (USPTO)
ā¢ Familiarity with online businesses, digital products, or education platforms
ā¢ Clear communicator who can explain legal concepts simply
ā¢ Preferably US-based, but open to international lawyers with deep US expertise
