US-Based Copywriter – Simplify Complex Law & Tax Content (3 hrs/week)
I am looking for a reliable writer based in the USA to help me with a specific client of mine in the law and tax space. Right now, their website content is a bit too "beefed up" and overly professional. It feels technical and dry, and we need to change that.
We want to rewrite the copy to speak directly to client pain points and focus on real solutions. You’ll need to know how to bring actual emotion into the writing so it feels relatable rather than just like a list of services. We want to use case studies and clear examples to show people exactly how the firm helps them.
I have two other potential projects with different clients in the works, so I am looking for someone I can keep working with long-term if this goes well.
How the Schedule Works
We are keeping this to a strict 3-hour weekly limit, so efficiency is key:
Once a Month: You will use your 3 hours for that week to join a Zoom call with me, the firm owner, his son, and their tax professional. This is where you’ll hear the stories and details we need for the content.
The Other Weeks: You will use your 3 hours to draft copy, refine the tone to be less complex, and prep questions for the next monthly call.
What we are looking for
You must live in the USA and speak fluent English.
You need to be available during daytime hours in Central Daylight Time (CDT) for our monthly calls.
You are great at "translating" technical or legal talk into simple, emotional, and persuasive copy.
You can manage your time strictly to stay within the 3-hour weekly window.
