Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
ā¢ Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
ā¢ Conduct diagnostic evaluations and monitor patients' vital signs.
ā¢ Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
ā¢ Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records.
ā¢ Support patients with behavioral health needs by providing empathetic care.
ā¢ Participate in patient education regarding health management and wellness.
ā¢ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
ā¢ Perform sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment as required.
Qualifications
ā¢ Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
ā¢ Experience in acute care, primary care, or critical care settings preferred.
ā¢ Proficiency in medical documentation practices.
ā¢ Ability to catheterize patients effectively and safely.
ā¢ Strong communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
ā¢ Knowledge of behavioral health principles is a plus.
ā¢ Commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment for patients.
ā¢ Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
