JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Morgan Academic Center is accepting applications for tutor positions for all subjects/levels. Applicants must have a (3.0) GPA or above and have earned at least an (A-) in the course(s) and/ have a commensurate academic background. Current Penn State sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are preferred. Responsibilities typically include scheduling appointments with assigned tutee(s) on a weekly basis, assessing assigned tutee(s) needs and tailoring tutorial support, accordingly, writing tutor reports following each session, attending trainings, and compliance with all policies/procedures. This position is limited to a maximum of (20) hours per week and is flexible to accommodate student schedules; however, hours are not guaranteed and may vary each week/semester, including the possibility of evenings and Sundays.
