About Apple Education Our Apple Education team is dedicated to helping institutions grow top-line revenue while transforming their teaching and learning environments. We achieve this by gaining a deep understanding of the education sectors we engage with, creating a vision that inspires educators, and collaborating with internal and external partners to drive execution. As a Higher Education Account Executive, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive sales growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities Understand the Education Sector: Develop a deep understanding of the organizational structure, decision-making process, and political considerations in the Education Sector. Influence at All Levels: Call and influence at all levels across accounts, from strategic to tactical. Customer Needs and Issues: Understand the needs and issues facing Apple's Education customers and craft sales opportunities and projects to address these needs. Sales Growth and Dominant Share Position: Increase sales and establish a dominant share position in Apple's Education accounts. Articulate Apple's Education Leadership Messages: Effectively articulate and present Apple's education leadership messages and value proposition. Complex Sales Methodology: Apply Apple's complex sales methodology to find opportunities across accounts. Collaborative Relationships: Establish collaborative relationships with RTM partners to increase sales coverage and growth. Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel required. Essential Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in education or technology sales. Track Record of Success: Quantifiable record of success in education or technology sales, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals. Solution-Based Approach: Experience with solution-based approach to solving customer requirements and an understanding of complex sales cycles. Preferred Qualifications Background in Channel Partners: Background working with channel partners and/or supporting multiple routes to market is highly preferred. Deep Expertise in Higher Education: Deep expertise in Higher Education and/or SLED is a plus. Rapport Building: Ability to build rapport with new customers across all levels of an Education organization. Articulate Apple's Education Products Strategy: Ability to articulate Apple's Education Products strategy as well as Apple's Value proposition. Relevant Sales Experience: Relevant sales experience, depending on the nature of that experience, with technology-based products. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time Management and Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently.
