The ServiceNow SME is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform. They are responsible for optimizing and maintaining the ServiceNow instance, implementing best practices, and providing guidance to ensure that the platform aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to enhance ServiceNow functionality and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and tools as needed.
Knowledge Transfer and Training:
Platform Security:
Reporting and Analytics:
Vendor Management:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
ServiceNow certification(s), such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), are highly desirable.
Several years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and configuration.
Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) for customization.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Project management skills are a plus.
