Unity Lighting Artist
Curiomatic is looking for an experienced Unity Lighting to work on Rollin' Rascal, where they will be tasked with lighting the levels as well as the cinematics.
Job Requirements
• 3+ years of professional experience working as a 3D Environment/Lighting Artist.
• Strong portfolio showcasing beautifully lit environments in a game context.
• Proven experience working with Unity’s lighting solution (baked lights, mixed lights, light probes, lightmaps).
• Experience with Unity's animator.
• Refined artistic sense and attention to detail for lighting scenes.
• Proficiency in Blender is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and virtually with a team in order to meet deadlines as a remote contractor.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a lighting magician that can transform environments by using deep knowledge of color, light and shadow. You'll need to hit the ground running, helping us turn our decorated environments into something that is beautifully lit and visually captivating. We're looking for someone with extensive knowledge on lighting in Unity.
This position is for our upcoming game, Rollin' Rascal. In this game environments are massive, with a variety of needs from lighting. We need someone who is up to the task to light these sprawling environments. We're looking for someone who can match lighting to high quality games such as Donkey Kong Banaza or Mario Kart World.
