**Job Description:**
As a Flight Attendant with United Airlines, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while maintaining the highest standards of service. The role allows for a dynamic work environment, flying to different locations, experiencing new cultures, and meeting people from around the world.
**Responsibilities:**
– Perform pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin complies with safety regulations.
– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and help stow carry-on luggage.
– Conduct safety demonstrations and inform passengers about flight details.
– Provide exceptional customer service, responding to passenger requests and needs during the flight.
– Serve meals, snacks, and beverages, including the sale of onboard products.
– Administer and coordinate in-flight sales transactions.
– Handle emergencies and provide guidance and assistance to passengers.
– Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance according to company guidelines.
**Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in hospitality are a plus.
– Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional languages are an asset.
– Able to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.
– Compliance with airline medical and background standards.
– Flexible with assignments and able to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays.
**Educational Qualifications:**
– High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
– Further certifications in customer service or hospitality are highly preferred.
**Experience:**
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is preferred but not required.
