Key Responsibilities Interact with customers in a kind, helpful, and professional manner to craft memorable experiences and build customer loyalty Stepping up and anticipating customer needs while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility when customers have been inconvenienced Work daily with a safety mentality, ensuring we hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards Navigate challenges through being resilient, adaptable, and composed under pressure Collaborate with colleagues, assist with new processes and technologies, and contribute to a positive team environment Greet customers, handle ticketing and luggage, and provide solutions to travel-related issues Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on airline policies, procedures, and services Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Minimum of 18 years old Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies Physical ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, as well as carry and handle luggage Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet airport requirements for badging Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Ability to meet the company's attendance requirements and uniform and appearance standards Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service experience in a similar industry (e.g., airlines, hospitality, or retail) Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge of airline operations, travel industry, or customer service principles Ability to work in a remote or Honolulu location What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary: $27-$35/hour Comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) and pension plan Health insurance and employee assistance program Travel privileges: fly United for free - domestic and international - and bring friends and family too!
