About the position
The Unit Associate I position at Atlantic Health System is designed to support the Registered Nurse and patient care team by providing essential nutritional, clinical, and transportation services. Responsibilities
? Maintaining inventory supply and stocking units according to established procedures and standards.

? Transporting patients and equipment, and delivering records and specimens.

? Assisting nursing and medical personnel in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities.

? Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
Requirements
? High School Diploma or equivalent.
,
? Six months of health care work experience, preferred.
,
? Minimum 6 months of steady work history.
Nice-to-haves
? Knowledge of and familiarity with hospital equipment, supplies and procedures.

? Ability to identify clinical and environmental emergency/urgent situations and to follow established procedures.

? Highly effective interpersonal communication skills to interact with inter-professional staff, patients, families, visitors, and other hospital employees.
