International Fire Protection is seeking qualified applicants for the Local #669 Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program in the Tifton, GA area.
Requirements:
? At least 18 years old
? HS Diploma or equivalent
? Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
? Ability to lift up to at least 50pounds
? Ability to climb ladders
? Not afraid of heights
? Strong mechanical background preferred
? Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Responsibilities:
This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeyman sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Apprentices are required to join Local #669 and complete on the job training and a 5-year correspondence course towards becoming a journeyman sprinkler fitter.
This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
