This is a part-time position during the school year (10-20 hours per week) with full-time opportunities during school breaks. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in underwriting, risk assessment, and insurance operations.Responsibilities:Activities include but are not limited to:Learn the fundamentals of insurance underwriting.Work on Cyber, Employment Practices, and Garage Package quotes.Choose a focus area:Underwriting: Assist in reviewing applications, assessing risks, and preparing quotes.Marketing & Broker Relations: Learn how to build relationships with brokers and support business development.Analytics: Develop a data-driven project to assist in underwriting decisions.Qualifications:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.3.0 or higher GPA required.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Interest in the insurance industry and willingness to learn.Compensation & Details:Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour.Duration: [Summer, Semester-long, or Flexible]Hours: Flexible schedule up to 29 hours/weekThis internship provides competitive pay and flexibility in the number of hours and days worked.Learn more about AGIA at www.k2dealerins.com and K2 Insurance Services at www.k2ins.com.
