About the position
The Underwriter position at State Farm involves providing quality customer interactions and products through simplified processes and technologies. Responsibilities
? Analyze and review lines of business to develop recommendations for agents.

? Serve as a resource to agents regarding company programs, loss mitigation, and marketing opportunities.

? Ensure proper pricing, placement, and termination of risk within assigned authority levels.

? Communicate clearly and professionally with agents and customers.

? Handle inbound calls and chats from agents, claims partners, and policyholders.
,
? Review and process applications and policy changes according to established guidelines.

? Guide customers through navigating existing resources such as Rate Manuals and Underwriting Guidelines.
Requirements
? Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

? 2 years of customer service experience.
,
? Limited Lines License is required.
,
? Strong computer skills to handle multiple applications in a fast-paced environment.
