UI/UX Designer/Developer
FocusPoint is a customer portal and commerce platform used by manufacturers and distributors to serve B2B buyers, B2C customers, and sales teams. Built on SAP Business One, FocusPoint supports ordering, quoting, pricing, payments, documents, and account management across multiple customer types.
Our UX team designs and builds real application interfaces used daily in production.
Role Overview
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer who is also a hands-on front-end contributor to design and implement customer-facing portals across B2B and B2C experiences.
This role requires someone who can move fluidly between design and code, turning workflows into working interfaces—not just mockups.
Key Responsibilities
UX/UI Design
• Design end-to-end workflows for B2B, B2C, and sales-assisted customer portals
• Translate complex business logic into clear, usable interfaces
• Create wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Design data-dense screens including tables, filters, and forms
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency across portals
Front-End Implementation (Core Requirement)
• Build and maintain production UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Implement UX designs directly into the application
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data
• Debug UI issues and refine interactions in real environments
• Optimize performance and usability for frequent users
Platform & Design Systems
• Contribute to and evolve shared UI components
• Ensure consistency across customers and configurations
• Balance reuse with customization needs
• Maintain clean, readable, and maintainable front-end code
Collaboration & Delivery
• Work closely with product and engineering teams
• Participate in requirements discussions and implementation planning
• Review and iterate on in-progress work
• Take ownership from concept through release
Required Experience (Must Have)
• 4+ years of UX/UI design experience on web or SaaS applications
• Strong, production-level experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience building and maintaining real customer-facing applications
• Ability to design and implement complex workflows
• Proficiency with Figma (or equivalent design tools)
Preferred Experience
• Experience with B2B and B2C commerce or portal applications
• Familiarity with ERP-backed or data-heavy systems
• Experience working in multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience working alongside backend or .NET teams
