UI/UX Designer | Remote Position

Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include • *Benchmark** , • *General Catalyst** , • *Peter Thiel** , • *Adam D'Angelo** , • *Larry Summers** , and • *Jack Dorsey** . • *Position:** Product Designer • *Type:** • *Full-time** • *Compensation:** • *$130000–$250000/year** • *Location:** • *Remote** • *Role Responsibilities** • Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI. • Collaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing ones. • Drive design decisions through a balance of taste, data, and user empathy. • Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product evolves and scales. • Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired by tools like Notion and powered by elements like Tailwind. • Work closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Mercor’s design philosophy and culture. • *Qualifications** • *Must-Have** • 4–8+ years in product design, ideally at fast-moving startups or high-bar product teams. • Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth. • Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints. • Comfort jumping into product discussions, prioritization, and pushing features across the finish line. • Proven ability to operate autonomously and define design processes in ambiguous environments. • Passion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to use. • Excitement to work directly with founders and influence company-wide product direction. • *Preferred** • Experience building internal tools, marketplaces, or AI-driven products. • *Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)** • Upload resume • AI interview based on your resume • Submit form • *Resources & Support** • For details about the interview process and platform information, please check: • For any help or support, reach out to: [email protected] • PS: Our team reviews applications daily.
