This role involves translating business requirements, research findings, and ideas into Veeam’s customers' interaction experience for web-based products and user services. You will address UI design challenges and continually refine solutions using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in UI/UX design, analytical skills, and experience participating in web frontend development. You'll work with Veeam's cross-functional development teams to ensure design decisions meet business goals and user needs while adhering to the company's brand and design system.
Your tasks will include:
Take ownership of the entire design process and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technology teams to deliver web services and products to Veeam customers
Discover user roles and scenarios; create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
Follow and enhance the company's design system to ensure consistency and alignment across all products and designs
Improve designs based on data insights from user research, analytics, usability testing, A/B testing, and feedback
Participate in design sprints and work with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality UI, leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Champion user-centered design principles and make sure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met
Provide basic front-end development support for technical implementation
What we expect from you:
A degree in Digital Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), graphic design, visual communication, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design
Expertise in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Balsamiq, and Adobe XD
A strong understanding of user-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility guidelines
Proficiency in web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design
Ability to analyze logs and web statistics to make informative design decisions
Knowledge of WCAG
Familiarity with UX research tools and Agile/Lean UX methodologies
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, using data to guide design
Skills in HTML, CSS
An eye for good composition and visual harmony, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
