UI/UX Designer
The Rhythm Company is seeking a freelance UI/UX Designer to create professional, developer-ready interface mockups for our upcoming rhythm game (remember Guitar Hero?).
We are looking to bring an experienced UI/UX designer on board to create a design system and UI mockups for our upcoming rhythm game.
Scope
Currently, we have about 95% of the UX already mocked up for this project. We already know what we need for functionality and UX, but we need someone to come in and put a cohesive UI on top of it, including building a component library with standardized coloring, layout, and typography. There are around 20 screens that need mockups created so that they can be handed off to developers.
All deliverables will be in Figma.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Game UI Specialist: Proven track record for designing interfaces specifically for games.
• Animations: Experience designing interface animations that feel fluid and responsive.
Deadlines
Work will be structured around milestones and turnaround times will be agreed upon for each task. Hours are flexible, and synchronous collaboration will rarely be required if at all.
Compensation
Payments will be made via ACH (US only) or wire transfer (International). Rates are based on our current budget, with some flexibility depending on experience and project needs.
The current budget is $2,000 - $2,500.
