Tutoring Intern
As a tutor with Connect Me, the largest student-led tutoring nonprofit organization in the United States providing free virtual tutoring to K-8 students, you will play a key role in helping your student excel academically. You will be rewarded with volunteer hours, opportunities to pursue leadership positions within the organization, and access to countless webinars to help with academic guidance for your future. You will be paired with your student)s) based on the subjects you are interested in tutoring, your grade level preference, and your availability for Zoom sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions to your student(s) at least once a week via Zoom,
• Create lesson plans in topics requested by your student or their parent if needed,
• Build a strong, trusting relationship with your student and their parent,
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet your student's learning needs,
• Encourage student engagement through continuous support,
Eligibility requirements:
• Must be in high school or college,
• Minimum GPA of 3.7,
• Reliable access to internet and your own device
