Tutor Support Representative (Remote, Part-Time, Seasonal)
Learner Education is seeking a part-time, remote Tutor Support Representative to help match students with the right tutors. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about education and can easily adapt to new systems and processes
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Review student profiles to understand needs and goals
ā¢ Research tutor profiles to find the best matches
ā¢ Communicate with tutors and manage responses via email
ā¢ Schedule and confirm trial sessions between students and tutors
ā¢ Track trial sessions from start to finish
ā¢ Collaborate with Academic Advisors to ensure successful placements
ā¢ Provide exceptional support to students and tutors
ā¢ Conduct welcome calls for new tutors and build professional relationships
ā¢ Maintain clear communication across teams
ā¢ Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
ā¢ Empathetic and passionate about education
ā¢ Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
ā¢ Strong verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Comfortable with technology and adapting to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, ZenDesk, VOIP)
ā¢ Problem-solver with the ability to manage urgent situations calmly
ā¢ Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
ā¢ Open to feedback and committed to personal growth
Requirements
ā¢ A basic understanding of the U.S. education system is preferred
ā¢ Education, tutoring, or test prep experience is a plus, but not required
ā¢ Must have a computer/laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace
Work Schedule:
We are offering two schedule options (all times Eastern Time):
ā¢ Monday - Friday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
ā¢ Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

This is a seasonal remote position ending on May 31, 2026. Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to return for the Fall 2026 season
Compensation: $18 per hour
Benefits
ā¢ Holiday Pay: Part-time employees who have been with the company for six months or more are eligible for holiday pay if the holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday. In these cases, employees may submit the average number of hours they typically work on that day, instead of a default of 8 hours.
ā¢ 401(k) Plan: Part-time employees are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) plan. Please note there is currently no employer match
