Job description Achieve More Reading Center provides struggling readers with research-based Multisensory Structured Literacy Instruction, specifically the Orton-Gillingham Method. Most students receiving services have a diagnosis of dyslexia, or other specific reading disability. Position Description • Providing one-on-one instruction and support for students struggling with reading, spelling and written expression • Working with students ranging from kindergarten through high school • Creating and/or utilizing lesson plans • Maintaining student records • Participating in Training Seminars and Continuing Education workshops • Maintaining confidentiality of student, employer, and facility procedures and functions Experience/Qualifications • Certification in Orton-Gillingham and/or experience using Orton-Gillingham • Experience teaching dyslexic learners • Must possess a willingness to learn new methods and strategies for reaching neurodivergent learners of all ages • Experience working with elementary, middle or high school students • Must have a personality that is suited for working with different types of learners • Must possess strong organizational skills • Background Checks are required Location • Work from home or other location Shifts • Weekdays : After-school and Evening hours (Required) Job Type: Part-time Salary: $10.00 - $27.00 per hour Training Rate: $10.00/hour with Bonus Package Experience: • Relevant: 2 years (Required) • Teaching: 3 years (Preferred) Language: • English (Required) • Hours per Week: 8 or fewer (Preferred) Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Self-determined hours • Completing an intensive training program (required) Working days: • Monday • Tuesday • Wednesday • Thursday • Friday, Saturday (optional) Typical start time: • 3PM Central Time Zone Typical end time: • 7PM Central Time Zone Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Professional development assistance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
