Trucking Dispatcher (Reefer • Dry Van • Power Only) – Remote (Priority: Illinois, USA)

Job Summary We are a growing trucking company operating 9 semi-trucks, 2 reefer trailers and rental dry van trailers as needed. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to manage reefer, dry van, and power-only freight operations remotely. This role is critical in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient fleet management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical proficiency with transportation management systems, and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a focus on priority locations: greater Chicago, IL area. Responsibilities Load Planning & Dispatching • Assign loads for Reefer, Dry Van (rental), and Power Only equipment • Plan routes based on HOS, driver location, and equipment type • Reduce empty miles and improve fleet efficiency • Track drivers in real time and resolve on-road issues • Ensure DOT compliance and follow company procedures Broker & Customer Communication • Negotiate rates and secure loads from brokers • Provide accurate updates regarding pickup, ETA, delays, and delivery • Build and maintain strong broker relationships Broker Network We work with major load platforms and brokers such as: Amazon Relay, Uber Freight, Convoy, Coyote Logistics, TQL, CH Robinson, and others. Administrative Tasks • Maintain dispatch logs and load records • Assist with POD collection, billing, and documentation • Prepare weekly performance and revenue reports Experience • 1–2+ years of dispatch or load planning experience • Knowledge of U.S. trucking, DOT & HOS regulations • Experience with Reefer, Dry Van, and Power Only loads • Proficiency with load boards, TMS, ELD, and GPS systems • Strong English communication skills • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure Compensation • 3% of gross revenue • Performance-based earning with high potential What We Offer • Full remote work flexibility • Stable loads through strong broker network • Supportive long-term work environment • Growth opportunities within the company Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $900.00 - $1,100.00 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
