Triage Analyst

The Triage Analyst will assist in quality of care investigations, manage regulatory portals, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure effective case management.ResponsibilitiesManage and triage QOC referrals from internal and external sourcesCreate and maintain confidential electronic investigation files for QOC casesCreate and manage entries into the regulatory IAD portalInitiate medical record requests for QOC investigations based upon clinical nursing judgementCollaborate internally with Clinical Quality Analysts and staff in other UHCCP departmentsManage multiple tasks and projects and changing priorities; prioritize work products effectivelySkillsHigh School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experienceMust be 18 years of age OR olderActive, unrestricted LPN license1+ years working in the health care industryProficiency with Microsoft Word (ability to open, edit, save and send documents)Microsoft Excel (ability to work with multiple data bases to retrieve and enter information)Experience with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsThe position requires a minimum onsite presence of once every six weeks for meetings and office related work. Onsite requirements are subject to change based on business needsThis position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.
