General Treasury Strategy and OperationsLead the team to steer global cash management operationsOptimise global treasury policiesSetup optimised intercompany funding strategiesMonitor global market conditions and mitigate potential risks2. Liquidity Optimisation & Cost of FundsEnsure sufficient liquidity to support business growth while minimising the cost of capital.Manage short-term and long-term funding strategies, optimising debt vs. equity financing.Establish cash flow forecasting models to enhance decision-making on funding needs.3. Capital Efficiency: Cash Inflows vs. OutflowsOptimise Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) vs. Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) to enhance working capital efficiency.Implement strategies to accelerate collections and extend payables where commercially viable.Partner with Finance & Operations to align treasury strategies with commercial goals.4. Risk Management: FX & Late PaymentsDevelop and implement foreign exchange (FX) risk mitigation strategies to protect against currency volatility.Establish robust credit risk policies to minimise exposure to late or defaulted payments.Enhance controls and compliance for payment processing and treasury operations.5. High-Performing Team & CultureBuild and lead a small but mighty best-in-class Treasury team with a strong performance culture.Develop talent through mentorship and trainingFoster a positive team environment measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and culture surveys.What You’ll Need3+ years experience in Global Treasury or as Group TreasurerExperience in marketplaces, fintech, or cross border businessesExpertise in financial modelling, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessmentFamiliarity with FX risk management and currency exposure strategiesExperience with Transfer Pricing modelsStrong people leadership skillsAbility to align treasury operations with business growth objectivesStrong cross-functional stakeholder management skillsEye for detail with a bias toward action, clarity, and executionPreferred QualificationsExperience scaling businesses from Series C to IPO.Deep expertise in automation, and real-time data processingObjectives and Key resultsThe key financial metric for success will be Net Cash Flow Value (NCFV)—a unified measure of working capital and funding costs.
